Haus Kartheiser Wirtshaus is built around classic schnitzel, wurst, house sides, and chef-driven comfort plates served inside a renovated hall at 1501 LaSalle Street. Dinner service launches Thursday through Sunday, with custom menus available for weddings, hall events, and private gatherings.

Haus Kartheiser Wirtshaus brings classic schnitzel, wurst, spätzle, rotkohl, and chef-driven comfort plates to Ottawa in a warm dinner-focused setting built for regular service, weddings, hall events, and private gatherings.
Chef Mason helped us plan a great evening! The food was absolutely amazing, the experience was great and honestly affordable, too! Pretty sure the kitchen was the cleanest it’s been after he cooked and cleaned up! We can’t wait to work with Chef Mason and the rest of the team again soon.
